Vejvodova Street is one of narrow streets of the Old Town of Prague. The Old Town of Prague (visit link) [CZ: Staré Mesto pražské) is a medieval settlement of Prague. It was separated from the outside by a semi-circular moat and wall, connected to the Vltava river at both of its ends.
Vejvodova Street connects Michalska Street and Jilská Street. Vejvodova Street was originally named Mícová, according to the Bowling Hall, which was located in one of the houses. Today's name was given by Mayor Jan Vaclav Vejvoda, who owned famous brewery 'U Vejvodu' at the other end of the street.
