The house 'U Ceske koruny' is located at Havel's Market. Havel's Market is the only preserved market place in Old Town dating back to 1232. In addition to Havelská Street, where the current market is located, the original one extended to Rytírská Street and Uhelný trh, which run parallel to it. It offers a large selection of fresh fruits and vegetables and on weekends, mainly tourist items.
The original town house is a gothic building, rebuilt in the Renaissance and Baroque periods. The house always played a significant role for Havel's Market, because its basements were stored a goods.

Jedním z mnohých starobylých a historických domu v Havelské ulici, spíše známé jako Havelký trh, je dum U Ceské koruny cp. 509, známý také pod názvem U Finku. Tento puvodne meštanský dum je v jádru gotický objekt prestavený v renesanci a baroku. Jsou zde i drobné klasicistní úpravy.
Tyto prestavby a také dostavby se týkaly jak hlavní budovy, tak v renesanci dostavené jednotraktové zadní budovy do Michalské ulice a dvorních traktu.
