The Platnerska Street is parallel to the Karlova Street which leads to the Charles Bridge.
The site substantially changed, just a tower of the Cathedral of St. Vitus (at backgroud) are still in place.

Jan Bedrich Minarík (December 15, 1862, Prague-Vyšehad - May 26, 1937) (
visit link) , was a Czech painter and graphic artist, pupil J. Marák at the Prague Academy. He became famous as a painter of motifs disappearing part of Prague. His work falls within the years 1907-1911. His paintings captured Josefov district and some parts of the Old Town and New Town. Also captured a number of motifs vanishing areas or individual houses. He also painted on Vysehrad, Mala Strana and Prague Castle.

Cást ulice Platnérské za križovatkou s ulicí Križovnickou smeruje na vltavské nábreží. Vpravo dum cp 84/I „U Cerného kozla"" ci „U Cerného berana"" s renesancními štíty a v pozadí dodnes stojící barokní dum c.p. 85/I „Na Prádle ci „Na Muráni . V pruhledu veže chrámu sv. Víta a Pražský hrad. Vlevo budovy kláštera križovníku s cervenou hvezdou, založeného na tomto míste v roce 1252, v barokní podobe a po prestavbe ze 40. let 19. století.
