"She taught elementary school for several years prior moving to the Binghamton area in 1966. Later in her career she spent nearly two decades as the box office manager for the performing arts programs at Binghamton University, providing a gracious liaison between arts patrons and the Departments of Music and Theatre, the Cider Mill Playhouse and the Anderson Center. She loved working with, and mentoring, the University Students and they, in turn, adored her, as did we all."
