There was no information about which RR owned the caboose or what line it was on. It's located in an unnamed city park next to the Joseph and Mary Cook Log Home. It's also adjacent to the Plattsmouth, Nebraksa Time Capsule waymark (WM1008) and the "L&C Mouth of the Platte" geocache (GCGH32). The gate in the fence around the park is locked; however, cache owner for GCGH32 gave the combination as part of the cache description. This suggest that visitors have permission to enter the park.
