The recommended return time for the climb UP to an elevation of 1,100 metres from the car park, and a one-way distance of 4.4 km, is 5 hours.
Many try to do it faster than that (myself included, with a time of 1 hour 25 minutes in 2015); BUT, make sure you are MORE than 'reasonably fit'.
Yes! The coordinates ARE listed as:
Latitude 153º 16.288' Longitude 28º 23.871'
It is the only one of the five signs on the Mount Warning hike that has the Latitude and Longitude numbers 'mixed up'!
The sign is mounted on a couple of 2½" metal pipes.
It is behind a wooden fence, with a very small 'footprint' for the landing of helicopters. There is a Public Land Survey Mark just a few metres to the west of this sign, under a cast iron / metal lid.
Type of structure: Sign

Difference between the post coordinates and your GPSr reading:
I beg your pardon! I don't know of ANY where on earth where you can get a Latitude of 153º! Try S28º 23.870' E153º 16.288'

Reason for the coordinates: A Helicopter Evacuation Point
