Le gisant du Duc de Berry – et son ours - était placé dans la sainte-Chapelle de Bourges. L’ours était l’animal fétiche du duc. Depuis la destruction du tombeau et la dispersion des pleurants, il est maintenant visible dans la crypte de la cathédrale.
The recumbent of the Duke of Berry-and his bear-was placed in the holy Chapel of Bourges. The bear was the Duke's fetish animal. Since the destruction of the tomb and the dispersion of the mourners, it is now visible in the crypt of the cathedral.
