At the entrance to Helgoland Museum this rusty anchor is located.
A sign tells about the anchor. In German this type is called a "Stockancker". In English is is called an "admiralty pattern" anchor, or simply an "admiralty" or "Fisherman". According to the text this kind of anchors are not used any more. Today it is the stockless types (in German:klippanker).
