This reference mark is located about 16 miles north of the community of Currie on U.S. Hwy. 93. The cap is set in a concrete monument about 115 feet southeast of the Hwy. 93 centerline. The monument and cap was set by the U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey in 1965 and marked LAGES NO 1.

DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1965 (CAA) STATION IS LOCATED AIRLINE, ABOUT 20 MILES SOUTH-SOUTHEAST OF CURRIE, 0.7 MILE SOUTHWEST OF THE JUNCTION OF U.S. HIGHWAY 93 AND U.S. HIGHWAY 50 ALTERNATE AND IS ON THE SOUTHEAST RIGHT-OF-WAY OF THE HIGHWAY. TO REACH THE STATION FROM THE JUNCTION OF U.S. HIGHWAYS 93 AND 50 ALTERNATE, GO SOUTH WEST ON U.S. HIGHWAYS 93 AND 50 ALTERNATE FOR 0.75 MILE TO THE STATION ON THE LEFT. CONTINUE SOUTHWEST ON THE HIGHWAY FOR 0.35 MILE TO BENCH MARK L 190 (AZIMUTH MARK) ON THE LEFT. STATION MARK IS A STANDARD DISK, STAMPED LAGES 1965, SET IN THE TOP OF A ROUND CONCRETE POST WHICH PROJECTS ABOUT 3 INCHES ABOVE THE SURFACE OF THE GROUND. IT IS 102 FEET SOUTHEAST OF THE CENTER OF U.S. HIGHWAYS 93 AND 50 ALTERNATE AND IS 25.5 FEET SOUTH OF A WITNESS POST. REFERENCE MARK 1 IS A STANDARD DISK, STAMPED LAGES NO 1 1965, SET IN THE TOP OF A ROUND CONCRETE POST WHICH PROJECTS ABOUT 10 INCHES ABOVE THE GROUND SURFACE. IT IS 116 FEET SOUTHEAST OF THE CENTER OF THE HIGHWAY, 27.5 FEET EAST OF THE WITNESS POST AND ABOUT THE SAME ELEVATION AS THE STATION. REFERENCE MARK 2 IS A STANDARD DISK, STAMPED LAGES NO 2 1965, SET IN THE TOP OF A ROUND CONCRETE POST WHICH PROJECTS ABOUT 3 INCHES ABOVE THE GROUND SURFACE. IT IS 76 FEET SOUTHEAST OF THE CENTER OF THE HIGHWAY, 16.4 FEET NORTHWEST OF THE WITNESS POST AND ABOUT THE SAME ELEVATION AS THE STATION. AZIMUTH MARK IS A STANDARD BENCH MARK DISK, STAMPED L 190 1958, SET IN THE TOP OF A ROUND CONCRETE POST WHICH PROJECTS ABOUT 8 INCHES ABOVE THE GROUND SURFACE. IT IS 58 FEET SOUTHEAST OF THE CENTER OF THE HIGHWAY AND 2 FEET EAST OF A SMALL CAIRN. HEIGHT OF LIGHT ABOVE STATION MARK 1 METERS.
