8.5 foot tall replica of the Statue of Liberty mounted on a concrete base, located in a small parkette on Memorial Parkway on Utica's south side.

Decription from the Smithsonion website:

"A female figure, representing Liberty, stands wearing a long flowing robe and a seven pointed headpiece. Her proper right arm is raised, holding a torch. Her proper left arm cradles a tablet. The figure is placed atop a tapered base that is set within a star-shaped planter."

The statue was erected in 1950 by the local Boy Scouts of America as part of a national fund-raising effort to repair the arm on the original Statue of Liberty.

This is one of approximately 150 replicas that were purchased by the Scouts throughout the USA between 1949 and 1951.

The affixed marker reads:
