The 'mission-brown' Colorbond shed has two roller doors, with a black chalk board between them, to announce where the teams have been sent to.
There is also a tall wooden pole on the Freemans Drive side, for the hanging and drying of the used firs hoses.
This unit is right beside the local SES (State Emergency Services) unit, who have their own twin roller door Colorbond shed.
There is a large concrete 'forecourt' for the maneuvering of the necessary vehicles.
