The Golden Rule Plaza building is currently home to Sewing, Quilting and Vacuum Center. There's a dated plaque hanging in front of this brick faced building that noted its construction date of 1895 and was home to City Hall and the Fire Station until 1912 when both moved to another building on the corner of 4th and H Streets to make room for the opening of the Golden Rule Store. The Golden Rule Store originally occupied a building across the street and opened in April of 1905.
