At the Muscogee (Creek) Tribal Complex northeast of downtown Okmulgee, in front of the Veterans Affairs office, is a memorial to Muscogee Prisoners of War.
Engraved on the granite base is the works:
“Force to capitulate by command or shot out of the sky Muscogee warriors remained defiant as prisoners of war”
below that you will find a list of all of the Muscogee Prisoners of War.
