This is an old historic Border Stone located adjacent to a forest road in the small forest 'Bernloch' outside of Bondorf, Germany, Baden-Württemberg.
The stone once demarcated the border between two properties. It is unknown whether it is still valid. It's not accompanied by a plaque or sign.
The stone is about half a meter in height. It can be found at the so-called 'Rodemsweg', a small back road within the forest. Given its size and shape the uninitiated could easily mistake this marker for an out of place headstone.
