Der Friedhof ist wahrscheinlich so alt, wie die Kirche, beziehungsweise dessen hölzernen Vorgängerbau selbst. Die Kirche wurde in der 1. Hälfte des 13. Jahrhundert errichtet und im Laufe der Jahre zu einer romanischen Wehrkirche ausgebaut. Der Kirchfriedhof befindet sich auf einem Hügel, der zum größten Teil von einer zwei bis fünf Meter hohen, mauerbekrönten Felskante umgeben ist.
Der Friedhof und die Kirche sind nach wie vor in Benutzung.

Diese interessante und wahre, wenn auch sarkastische Tafel hängt am Nordeingang des Kirchfriedhof.

The cemetery is probably as old as the church, or its wooden predecessor building itself. The church was built in the first half of the 13th century and over the years developed into a Romanesque hall church. The churchyard is located on a hill, which is mostly surrounded by a two to five meter high, wall crowned rocky edge.
The cemetery and the church are still in use.
