This is a 40 cm, cuboidal block of concrete, with a stepped, bronze, obtuse pyramidal peak, and an engrave brass plaque on the side of it. The plaque has tarnished, and is transcribed:

"This surveyors bench mark was unveiled by
The Hon. Diana Laidlaw MLC
Minister for Transport and
Mr. David O'Sullivan ME (Aust.)
Company Director of Built Environs Pty Ltd

on 27 June 1996 to mark the commencement of
construction of The Berri Bridge."
