The Ramsey Elementary School was completed and opened in 1926 and was the primary elementary school for the City of Bluefield more than 60-years. The school is situated on a hillside and has entrances on every level. The Ramsey School is listed as a 5-story building and is unique in the fact that it has entrance on 7-different levels as documented on "Ripley's Believe it or Not." The school closed in 1987 and over the years has been used for my purposes, including most recently as a resturant, nightclub, coffeehouse, arts center and karaoke bar, which closed in 2013. Today the schools sits vacant and is for sale.
