[EN] The wing mill, formerly located in the marsh of the wing (in the audomarois marsh), was used to manage the waters by draining the latter with its Archimedes screw.
Strongly damaged in the late 1940s due to a storm, it was later dismantled.
It was in 2013 that it was identical in front of the House of the Marsh of Saint-Omer, the Port with the beaten milk.
In the heart of the Saint-Omer marsh, the wing marsh, 18 m high with its wings, has preserved the foundations of the mill.
