Wasserturm construite de 1906 à 1907 par Behr, ingénieur du Meliorationsamt détaché à Sélestat. La tour du château d'eau, d'une hauteur de 48 mètres, est réalisée en maçonnerie et soutient un réservoir en tôle rivetée de 500 mètres cubes. L'ouvrage aurait été exécuté d'après le modèle d'un château d'eau construit en 1893 à Deventer (WM3W4W), en Hollande. Son architecture s'inspire du style néo-roman avec un revêtement de briques jaunes et rouges. L'aigle impériale des Hohenzollern qui surmontait le toit conique a été remplacée par un coq gaulois en 1918.
Wasserturm built from 1906 till 1907 by Behr, engineer of the Meliorationsamt untied to Sélestat. The tower of the water tower, 48 meters in height, is realized in masonry and supports a reservoir in rivetée sheet steel of 500 cubic meters. The work would have been executed according to the model of a water tower built in 1893 to Deventer(WM3W4W), in Holland. Its architecture is inspired by the neo-Romanic style with a cover of yellow and red bricks. The eagle imperial of the Hohenzollern which surmounted the conical roof was replaced by a Gallic cock in 1918.
