Small sandstone monument dedicated to 21 fellowcitizens fallen during WW I is located just at the road in western part of village Slavhostice lying about 12 kilometers southwardly from the town Jicín. A bust of a fallen young man with closed eyes and opened mouth, holding a sword in his hand is depected on very top of the monument. At the front part of its pedestatal following 21 names of men from the village fallen between 1914-1918 in various battlefields accross Europe are given:
