From the Sisters Ranger Station, travel generally NW on US20 for 9.5 miles. Turn left onto George McAllister Road, FR2060. Continue about 4.1 miles to the intersection with FR1014 at Fivemile Butte. Walk generally W on FR1014-260 for about 0.7 miles to the corner on the left.
Type of survey mark: 2-1/2" brass cap on galvanized iron pipe in a mound of stones, rising 2"

What indicators are near the mark to help people identify where it is located?:
The corner is S, about 330' from the centerline of FR1014-260. Found a burned, broken-off snag with an ATTENTION sign on the backside and a melted yellow BEARING TREE tag on the facing side.


What property is this mark defining?:
Firs Holdings LLC property S of the corner, else Deschutes National Forest; see also Survey CS#00031 filed in the Deschutes County Surveyors Office
