The biggest question for this cemetery is why and where are there people buried on the church grounds in the middle of this residential neighborhood.

No gravestones are seen in this residential neighborhood of Tomah, Wisconsin, just what seems to be an innocent memorial stone behind a simple, old Episcopal church next to the tree line with a house. But according to on-line records, this stone serves as a grave marker for the names listed and somewhere on these church grounds lays the final resting place for at least seven of the eight names listed. According to records, the most recent interment on the church grounds was in 2002. Almost nothing is mentioned about this individual in her obituary. Surrounded by houses on two sides and on the corner of West Milwaukee Street and McLean Avenue, this plot has only one monument with 8 names. According to on-line records there are 7 verified interments here. Only two have recorded vital dates and, along with 2002, the other was buried in 1995. The two with verified vital dates were husband and wife (Vivian and Clarence Rezin). The landscape does not show where on the grounds these people were interred, so the exact sites of the graves are not known. The speculation is that they are buried in the South lawn of the church.
