[FR] La date de construction est inconnue : elle est antérieure à la fin du XIIe siècle puisqu'en 1190, un vicaire de Rochefort co-signe un acte par lequel le seigneur de Rochefort fait don de terrains aux moines de Marmoutier.
La chapelle est alors une trève de Pluherlin puis une collégiale à la fin du XVe siècle. Elle perd ce statut à la Révolution et devient paroissiale.
De la construction initiale subsiste le clocher roman.
En 1498, Jean IV de Rieux-Rochefort y fonde une collégiale. Son fils Claude augmente le chapitre de sept à treize ecclésiastiques et le fonde à perpétuité en 1527.
Le chœur est agrandi et séparé de la nef par un jubé en bois.
En 1533, La façade Nord fut reconstruite en style gothique flamboyant, comme en témoigne l’inscription du montant du portail :
« En l’an 1533 fut cette œuvre parfaite. »
Au XVIIe siècle, le vaisseau est pourvu d'une nef supplémentaire au sud.
Pendant la Révolution, l'église sert de dépôt et de magasin.
D'autres travaux sont réalisés au XIXe siècle, notamment l'allongement de la nef à l'ouest, mais il faut attendre 1924 pour que l'intérieur de l'église prenne son aspect actuel.

[EN] The date of construction is unknown: it was prior to the end of the 12th century, since in 1190 a vicar of Rochefort co-signed an act by which the Lord of Rochefort donated land to the monks of Marmoutier.

During the Revolution, the church served as a depot and a store.
Other works were carried out in the 19th century, notably the extension of the nave to the west, but it was not until 1924 that the interior of the church took on its present appearance.
