The roots of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church in Pflugerville go back to circuit-riding Lutheran preachers of the 1850s.

The congregation was formed in 1871, but split and then later re-formed. In 1928 the congregation built this beautiful brick sanctuary on Immanuel Rd. in Pflugerville.
