This Victorian post box stands on the north west side of Vicarage Gate at the junction with Brunswick Gardens a short distance to the west of Kensington Palace.

The box is in good condition and in good decorative order having recently been repainted. The base is in need of shot-blasting at the next refurbishment as there is quite a build-up of corrosion over the maker's name. The "VR" is missing from the box and may have been ground off at the last maintenance of the box.
