As many buildings in the district were, this bank was designed by La Crosse architects Parkinson & Dockendorff in 1908. It has changed very little from its original structure and is considered one of the finest examples of original design in the district. Though the name has changed, the building has always housed a bank. Today the bank is known as Citizens First Bank.
