This memorial in form of a Celtic cross commemorates the fallen of the parish German in Second World War. The stone cross is about 10ft (3 meters) high and bears the following inscription:

THE ETERNAL
AND
GRATEFUL MEMORY OF
THE MAN
OF THIS PARISH
WHO
LAID DOWN THEIR LIVES
FOR THEIR COUNTRY
AND FOR THE
WHOLE CIVILIZED WORLD
IN THE
SECOND WORLD WAR
1939 - 1945
On another plaque at the foot of the cross, twenty-five fallen are named.
