ABOUT THE PERSON: "On the 10th of July 1964, Richard was named Postmaster of Albuquerque. He would hold that position until his death (November 1982) and is the longest serving postmaster in Albuquerque history.
A new post office was named in his honor in September 1996. The Richard J. Pino Station is located at 4600 Paradise Boulevard NW, in Paradise Hills, on Albuquerque's northwest mesa." (
