The sculpture is of a man in an Native American costume, reaching out and grasping onto an eagle tail. It sits on a pedestal in the area betweent the two terminals at ARQ. The plaque reads:

Dream of Flight Bronze, 1989.

The dream of flight is born within the heart of man, embracing the desire to be free from the confines of the earth's surface. Hopefully the dream includes possibility of freedom from limiting thought and action. As our imagination is freed to receive greater truths, then fear, closed thinking and poverty of spirits will be left behind...far below.
