Village of Williamsburg New Mexico welcomes Adventurous fun seeking and even weary travelers off I-25 at Exit 75. The Village came to be in 1950, when some citizens of Truth or Consequences (Then known as Hot Springs) moved next door in protest of the new name! Three residential communities southwest of and adjacent to Hot Springs (now Truth or Consequences) voted to incorporate as a village and take the name of the first mayor, Dr. Thomas B. Williams.

The Village of Williamsburg has grown over the years yet preserves a suburb like community with a modern municipal services complex. Utility services are provided for its residents through contracts with the City of Truth or Consequences. Williamsburg is a friendly community offering travelers the best exit off I-25 to Southwestern New Mexico’s Adventures and Recreation. Exit 75.

There are several businesses near the I-25 freeway exit (75) at Williamsburg. There is a small park for picnicking and activities with basketball and tennis courts. On the west end of the Village, a motel, RV Park, several convenience stores with gasoline, diesel and Ethanol Free fuel. Antique, automotive services, museums and eateries are all immediately off Exit 75 and minutes from old town T or C." (visit link)

"Williamsburg is a village in Sierra County, New Mexico, United States. The population was 527 at the 2000 census. The village, though small, is located conveniently adjacent to Truth or Consequences, and has essentially become a suburb. Though the town is experiencing moderate growth now, especially along I-25, in the near future there is a high possibility of its becoming a booming bedroom community for lakesiders from Elephant Butte."
