It is difficult to see the tower for the bell from Queen Street, but it is easily seen from beside the Holy Innocents Catholic Church, with entry from Webb Street. The brown brick structure is an integral part of the main school classroom building.
The medium-sized bell is mounted within an open brick 'window', with a low-pitched brick 'roof'. A small Celtic cross is mounted on top.
The bell appears to be operated by a simple pull-cord attached to an arm on one side of the bell.
BTW, a pulley wheel could not be seen. The bell is not suspended, but pinned into the brickwork. I would estimate that the bell would have to be 8 metres off the ground.
