The House of Manannan was built in 1997, partly new and partly the old Peel Railway Station. Among its many exhibits is two-thirds scale replica of a Viking longship, made in and sailed from Norway to the Isle of Man in 1979 to celebrate the millennium of Tynwald.

* See and hear Manannan speak from the falling waters of Spooyt Vane.
* Visit a Viking long-house from Cronk ny Merriu.
* Through the rising mists the island's stone crosses tell their tales.
* Join the crew of Odin's Raven, a Viking longship as they return from the battle of Clontarf.
* Discover the sites and smells of 19th century Peel during the peak of the Manx Kipper Yard.
* Go quayside to the warehouses and see the shops of sail makers, coopers and chandlers.
* Visit Spit Corner were the superstitions of the fishfolk are told.
* Buy souvenirs, gifts and books at the Heritage Shop.
