No, the horse's name is Ronald, although that's obviously the name of the cowboy in the saddle. There's no identification plate nearby like there are for many horses in the project, and Ronald is not nearly as spiffed up as some of the others are. He's brown, with white on his face from his eyes to his nose, and his forelegs are white as well. His mane and tail are black. On both sides of his rump is a "brand" in the form of the McDonald's golden arches

Ronald -- the rider -- is wearing his usual garb, with a brown cowboy hat on his head, yellow western gloves, a red kerchief around his neck, and leather chaps to protect the front of his legs. Those could be red cowboy boots he's wearing, and he's not scary looking at all.

Background Story:
"Hoof Prints of the American Quarter Horse" is a city-wide public art display featuring more than 100 fiberglass replicas of an American Quarter Horse. Handled by Center City of Amarillo, with the American Quarter Horse Association as sponsor. it was begun in 2002 to raise money and promote art in public places. Each is a life-sized American Quarter Horse, in honor of an animal so vital to the city of Amarillo. Each horse weighs 125 pounds, and costs $3,500, requiring from three to six months from a local artist to create.
