"Der Regensburger Dom St. Peter zählt zu den bedeutendsten Leistungen der Gotik in Bayern. Mit seinen weit sichtbaren Türmen ist der Dom Mittelpunkt der UNESCO Welterbestadt Regensburg. Eindrucksvoll sind die farbenprächtigen Glasfenster aus dem 13./14. Jahrhundert. Der Kreuzgang, einst Begräbnisstätte Regensburger Bürger und Domherren, wird vorrangig durch das gotische Kreuzrippengewölbe aus dem 15. Jahrhundert geprägt. Die Allerheiligenkapelle, Mitte des 12. Jahrhunderts von oberitalienischen Bauleuten errichtet, ruft Erinnerungen an Ravenna wach und kann auch mit einer Führung besichtigt werden. Der Regensburger Dom ist die einzige gotische Kathedrale Bayerns.
