Member os the Legion are usually former military service members, but not always. Many members are in the Sons of the Legion" and they usually DID NOT serve, but their fathers did.
Also, member of the Legion include the Auxiliary, which are the wives of members and almost all of them did not serve.

This post was created in 1920 and many members have passed away.
