The Yarmouth World War I Memorial is a 47" by 32.5" by 2" bronze plaque attached to a 7' by 6.25' by 4' granite boulder. The plaque contains a relief plaque of a Grecian woman long gown and sandals. She is standing with her arms extended and holding a laurel wreath in each hand. The plaque was sculpted by John Francis Paramino and dedicated on September 4, 1926. Beneath each wreath is a list of names of Yarmouth citizens who served during World War I.

The plaque contains the following dedication:
