Description Centennial Park consists of a whole city block in the center of the Residential Historic District of Sanford. It lies between, Park Ave. on the east and Oak Ave. on the west; between 4th and 5th streets.

The old gazebo was removed due to structural issues. The City is looking into costs for replacement in the next fiscal year, FY 2017, which starts October 1, 2016. There are many mature trees providing shade and a bench swing at the northeast corner of the park.
