Sanborn maps show this building was built some time between 1900 and 1905 where other sources put the exact year at 1900. This building was first used as a drugstore and grocery. In 1908 the stores are identified as C.F. Dahl Drugstore and A.E. Sorenson's Groceries. In 2003 the stores were Postnet and Box Office Video. Today the building is the home of the Tangled Hickory Wine Bar and another retail shop.
