SCAFE Reference Mark 2 - Village of Burns, WI, USA - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

Fairly high elevation on a very small populated road, sits this disk on the Northwest side of Scafe Road. The disk is one of two reference disks which mark the location of a Triagulation Station disk nearby in a farm field. This disk is well preserved in a concrete block set in a fence line next to the woods. Best place to see it is park by the side of the road. Even though the road is seldom used, watch for cars and farm equipment. The disk is in the higher elevation in the coulees and there is often very high winds.
