The William H. Neukom Building was erected in 2011 as part of a $20 million philanthropic gift from William Neukon. The building is part of Stanford Law School and is LEED Gold certified. The building comprises 65,000 feet of space and the building's shaded, elevated garden terrace is the central focus of the building.

The date of the building is stamped into the concrete floor of the Barnum Tower (rotunda) on the north side.
