Derby Park hosts the Central Florida Soap Box Derby at the end of each year. There is minimal seating along the track so bring chairs. The park sports a nice play area with a playground and play equipment for 2-5 yr. olds and 5 – 12 yr. olds. Picnic shelters can be rented. There are two volleyball courts and a large open field. There is also a fitness area with workout stations.
