ABOUT THE PLACE:
At the south end of the bridge, there used to be a museum that show-cased Guy Lombardo's work as a band leader. The museum has been torn down and closed permanently. Since then a new building houses a community centre. The bridge was dedicated to him because of the former location of the museum.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
This bridge was named after Guy Lombardo in honour of the famous band leader. He was born in London, Ontario, Canada and that's the reason why this bridge was named in honour of him.
