Situated on the main high street, this characterful community pub, affectionately nicknamed "The Steps", is deservedly popular with locals, cyclists and walkers alike. Bathams Mild is now on only occasionally. The front bar sees locals and visitors intermixing and engaging in lively conversation whilst the plusher lounge is more comfortable. Note the usual Bathams breweriana and old advertising hoardings bedecking the walls. Snacks available.
