In Glatt, Germany, Baden-Württemberg exists a water castle called 'Wasserschloss Glatt'. It is loacted inside a park. It has received two historic presevation awards.
The oldest parts of the castle date from the 13th century.
It was re-built in renaissance style in 1533/34 and 1540.
The castle houses a restaurant and a museum for farming (Bauern Museum) today and can be accessed in parts.

It received preservation awards by 'Deutsche Stiftung Denkmalschutz' and 'Denkmalstiftung Baden-Württemberg'. The plaques can be found at the inner courtyard.
