The Dahl name has been around the Coulee Region since the 1800's when Dahl General Store first opened. The first Dahl dealership was opened in 1911 as a pioneer of the auto industry in Western Wisconsin. Today it is the ninth oldest Ford dealership in all of the United States. To show its appreciation for the La Crosse area, Dahl partnered with the La Crosse Historical Society in building and opening the Dahl Auto Museum. The Museum features vintage motor vehicles to include many Model T's (both cars and trucks), a massive hood ornament collection, timelines, and the Starlight Drive-In, which is a replica drive-in theater. The price of admission is very affordable at $4 adult, $3 Seniors, $3 Children 9-16, and free for children 8 and under. The museum is located behind the dealership and street parking is available.
