A memorial to former Frisco mayor, Bob Warren, takes the form of a small metal plate mounted on the base of a town clock in a small, unnamed park/plaza in the 6900 block of Frisco's historic Main Street.

The plate has silver trim and text on a green background, and it says:

Robert M. "Bob" Warren

Mayor
1990-1996

City Councilman
1983-1989

For long and dedicated service
to the citizens of Frisco.

The clock itself could be vintage, as the manufacturer, Electric Time, has been in business for eighty years. Then again, this could be a new clock, placed here as a centennial commemoration (Note the "Est 1908" up top). While it is an operational clock, both sides are wrong, and both sides disagree on what time it is.

I am fortunate enough to know Mr. Warren's son, and he was kind enough to get me an autographed copy of Mayor Warren's book, a collection of articles published as "Frisco - Now and Then: Volume II - 2004 - 2013," a collection of articles written for Frisco STYLE Magazine. A scan of the book's cover is in the gallery. Mayor Warren helped to launch the city's Heritage Museum and was also one of the co-founders of the Heritage Association of Frisco. Anyone who passes through Frisco will undoubtedly see Warren Parkway, named for him.
