This marker is a water tower located near the southwest corner of the town of Reardan.

Situated in a field just outside the built up part of the town, this is the town's water tower. The tower is just southeast of the south end of South Oak Street. The station is the small ball atop the tower.

STATION DESCRIPTION
DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1950 (WRH) THE STATION IS LOCATED IN THE SOUTHWEST EDGE OF REARDAN, ABOUT 1/2 MILE SOUTH OF U.S. HIGHWAY 2.

THE STATION IS A SILVER, METAL TANK ABOUT 90 FEET HIGH. THE POINT INTERSECTED WAS THE CENTER AND TOP OF THE HIGHEST PART OF THE TANK WHICH IS THE BALL ON TOP.
