This is a bronze/brass benchmark disc at the entrance to Felts Field in northeast Spokane.

Extremely easy to find, the disc is 4½ feet above ground level in the south wall of the brick hanger one encounters upon turning right off Francher to Rutter, entering the airport. It's in the brickwork on the southwest corner of the building, about 4½ feet east of the corner.

STATION DESCRIPTION
Described by coast and geodetic survey 1965
5 mi E from Spokane.
at Spokane, Spokane County, about 5.0 miles east of the Northern Pacific Railway station, at the northeast corner of the intersection of Fancher Way and Washington Street, at the entrance to Felts Field, at the southwest corner of a brick building used in 1944 as an army hangar, in the south wall, and about 4-1/2 feet above the ground. A standard disk, stamped C 264 1944 and set vertically. NOTE-- in the northeast corner of the intersection of Fancher Way Rutter Avenue instead of Fancher Way and Washington Street. The brick building is still used for a hangar.
