In Ticonderoga, along New York Route 9N, is the Wind Chill Factory, a soft-serve ice cream establishment in the low hills of the Adirondack Mountains.
The shop is on the southern side of the road by the intersection with Alexandria Avenue. The building is a log-cabin facade with serving windows all along the front. Above them is the neon sign, with the text, "Wind Chill Factory." Above that is a wooden statue of a bear.
The Wind Chill Factory is a soft-serve place with a lot of different flavors to choose from. In addition to serving through the windows, they even deliver - I saw the car come and go a couple times.
