Jean-Louis Girardin de Vauvré (Paris, around 1647 - Paris, 29 September 1724) was a Navy Intendant, Marine Advisor and Councillor of State. He took a prominent part in the defense of Toulon during the siege of 1707.
Built between 1686 and 1701, the ancient Corderie boasts a remarkable architecture in keeping its original vocation as a rope factory for the Navy.
